It seems that after disputes that there was between David Lynch and Showtime for the project, everything has been delayed a few months, and we will not see the return of Twin Peaks up to 2017, as confirmed by Mark Frost.
He has been in one interview in the National Baseball Hall of Fame where the co-author of the series explained the status of the project:
“We have finished the scripts, We started production in September and it will light on Showtime sometime in 2017”
However it must be remembered that series doubled the number of chapters, passing of 9 to 18, that would also explain in part the delay in their issuance. In the end most importantly is that Twin Peaks again with a quality product, and I am convinced that will be.
