Showtime several executives have left the door open for a new season.

There may be some slight hope to see a continuation of the adventures of Dougie and company.

Gary Levine, Programming Director, He gave rise to a possible continuation:

“The door is always open for David Lynch, That means a new season or whatever you want to do. This was a Herculaneum effort. I'm not sure if any other director has ever done 18 hours followed series. It is extraordinary what he has accomplished, fans'm liking them and that is very satisfying for me”.

Then David Nevins, Showtime CEO continued talking about:

“Many people are speculating but there have been zero discussion, just fans wondering about it”.

However also indicated that “the intention was always that it was a single season.”

But most likely not lead anywhere, who knows what could happen. It will be interesting to see how far the end of the third season is closed. Can you imagine more chapters of Twin Peaks?
