They continue producing reactions to the news of the abandonment of David Lynch's Twin Peaks return. The protagonists of the series have recorded a video entitled “Twin Peaks without David Lynch is as…” putting pressure to Showtime.
In this way most of the protagonist of the series cast has recorded a video in which make clear their discomfort by not having David as director, trying to Showtime to think and go to the petitions of Lynch.
Involved in the same, in order of appearance, Sheryl Lee (Laura Palmer), Dana Ashbrook (Bobby Briggs), Sherilyn Fenn (Audrey Horne), Madchen Amick (Shelly Johnson), Peggy Lipton (Norma Jennings), James Marshall (James Hurley), Kimmy Robertson (Lucy Moran), Gary Hershberger (Mike Nelson), Catherine E. Coulson (The Long Lady), Wendy Robie (Nadine Hurley), The Strobel (Mike) and Jennifer Chamber Lynch (daughter of David Lynch).
For example, James Marshall says that “Twin Peaks David Lynch without is like a motorcycle without a driver”, or Sheryl Lee say that “Twin Peaks David Lynch without is like a girl without a secret”.
What is clear is that no one in the cast wants this situation and they want David back. We will see if the pressures are used for something.
