These two little known experimental shorts that are not in The Short Films of David Lynch.

At this point I find myself still discovering works of Lynch did not know.

I have always thought that his first two shorts were “Six men getting sick” in 1966 and “The alphabet” in 1968. But I discovered that the two recorded two more short 1967.

The first is “Absurd encounter with fear”, starring Jack Fisk, childhood friend of Lynch and appear later in Eraserhead, and Peggy Reavey, first wife of American director. In short we see Peggy in the forest and a strange blue tint man approaches him with strange intentions. This short is about 2 minutes. Amazes use music Krzysztof Penderecki, author would appear 40 years later on the soundtrack of INLAND EMPIRE.

The second is entitled “Fictitious Anacin Commercial” and is nothing more than a fictitious ad analgesic “Anacin”. It is also starring Jack Fisk. It has a duration of 1 minute.
