The newspaper of Aragon published a critique about the exhibition on the art of David Lynch, which is being held these days in the capital of Aragon. The event does not come out very well, highlighting these two paragraphs:
Away from such high demands we face one smaller sample –organized on this occasion by Zaragoza Municipal society Cultural and art contemporary GACMA– What, ignoring the rejection of Lynch towards any sequence that is the result of any Convention, set in separate compartments and under an order spatial and temporal as an irritant as strict two series graphics (The Paris suite, 2007; Women, 2007-2008), three short and some of his films, not all, the rhythm of the music from the television series Twin Peaks, which Lynch achieve popular success.
Next to the monitors, equipped with headphones for those who dare to take a look to his films in such conditions, dull montages of small photographs and posters that all contribute to the fetish universe of a versatile artist, prolific and always over. These traits that prevail over any approach to his work, by very failed to be, like this which we are dealing.
