It is an anthology of 137 photographs by 12 international photographers inspired by Twin Peaks and David Lynch's work.

The authors talk about the work as a photobook where you can see a narrative sequence through photographs inspired by the work of David Lynch.

A photobook can be defined as a novel in which the images are text. For “A Place Both Wonderful and Strange” also we chose another literary form as inspiration: anthology of short stories. These paperbacks in which various authors write about the same topic or concept are our favorites and we wanted to explore that format in this book. Twin Peaks is a big world and its influence is so profound that we wanted to see a handful of looks inspired by the universe and see that we wore dark places.

The work is divided into 12 chapters 16 pages, with a total of 137 pictures. Photographers are both emerging artists as others already recognized. Is about Anna Beeke, Carl Bigmore, Melissa Catanese, Cristina de Middel, Salvi Danés, Enrico Di Nardo + Valentina Natarelli, Antone Dolezal, Philippe Fragniere, Jason Fulford, Rory Hamovit, Sara Palmieri and Sarah Walker.
