Synopsis: Abortive project of series of David Lynch which were only filmed 3 episodes and was never issued, joining the 3 later episodes in this TV-movie. The premise were stories that succeeded each other in the same room of a hotel in different periods. The three stories are:
- Tricks: 1969, a man carries a prostitute to the room, but before you can make anything appear a friend, He begins to talk to you about your deceased spouse and try to seduce the prostitute.
- Getting rid of Robert: 1993, a woman planning to kill her lover, that should meet in the room.
- The blackout: 1936, in the midst of a power outage a couple who have gone to the city to visit a psychiatrist speaks to fill the void.
