After yesterday's alarms, It seems that everything is back on track. The return of Twin Peaks is a fact, Although there are some conditions and there might be surprises.

After reading various sources, it seems clear that is not yet closed the contract with Showtime Lynch for filming the third season of Twin Peaks. There have been some complications, as he said, but that doesn't mean that it will not be rolled.

Complications are of a contractual nature. On the one hand it seems that initially agreed that he would shoot in analogue and now Lynch seems to have opted for shoot in digital. On the other hand they are negotiating with the rights of the series for later broadcast on Blu-ray, to avoid problems like those which came with Twin Peaks: Fire walk with me and their famous deleted scenes.

Nor should we forget all the fuss media which has resulted in the announcement of the third season of Twin Peaks, and all this expectation is something that Showtime does not want us to give.

Lynch has stated that he has been together with Mark Frost preparing the script by 4 years. Therefore they have no interest in throwing all that work overboard. If finally the problems with Showtime were not correctable, There are several interested in series strings.

With all of this, We can breathe easy that, in one way or another, Twin Peaks will be with us.
